The Heugh Garden

The site started development on the 9th of April 2014. First as a Wednesday volunteer group working to clear the site and build the growing infrastructure. The garden has since grown into a thriving local hub for food growing, healthy eating, community involvement & learning.

We grow a wide range of food plants, fruits & herbs. Everything is grown in raised beds, planters using mainly recycled pallets made by our volunteers.

The food we grow is shared between our community. We also use our own produce for events & cooking workshops. You can get involved by coming along to one of our workshops or joining in our weekly garden sessions.
